At present, we do not collect any information from our website. However, we are looking at ways in which we can improve our service. What we collect may change in future.

All the information that we collect at Design By Daykin is for the sole purpose of being able to provide a service for our customers in relation to organising hire of items for a function or using information to create personalised stationery.
The information we will need/ may need to obtain will be:
Name, address, contact number, email address, date of function, venue of function, names of attendees.
This information will not be passed on freely or sold to any other third parties without prior consent from the contract holder. The exception to this will be with the Venue clients have a contract with, where we may need to pass on information regarding the event and attendees of the function.
If we need to send any information electronically to either the client or the Venue the files will be password protected with only the relevant personnel having access to the password.
We may need to occasionally process card transactions manually over the telephone, this information will be entered directly into the card machine and processed immediately, no record of card details or bank information will be stored for clients.
Personal Data will only be kept for as long as the contract is in place and for a period of up to 6 years after the close of financial year during which the contract ends or as otherwise required by HMRC for taxation records. You have the right to withdraw permission at any time and have your details deleted both electronically and any paper based documentation destroyed. You have the right to consent to what information and state any limitations on the processing of this information. The only time we will freely share information without consent is in relation to any legal proceedings in which we are required by law to share.
We may contact you by e-mail after the end of your contract for a period of up to 18 months after to invite you to participate in voting for us in the IDO magazine awards or for leaving reviews. Your information will not be passed on to other third parties and would be for our sole use only.
